How To Compete

Let’s Keep It Real…

Not sure about you, but being voted out in a Community Amateur Latte Art Comp SUCKS! Previously these comps have been known to cause controversy due to voting bias and favoritism. Were here to flip the script

In 2017 we set out to change that (minus the Covid-19 years) by creating inclusive coffee events for both baristas and the coffee enthusiasts, our customers. Games and events that are fun and thoughtful. Most importantly create a balanced Coffee Game that makes Latte Art fun, it gets us out of our head, and makes it an even playing field.

A panel of judges of savvy Specialty Coffee custies that know what a good cortado, piccolo, flat white, cappuccino, should look and taste like. Lead by an unbiased Head Judge, Yoshawn Smith of Califia Farms, who not only understands the expectations of Specialty Coffee level Latte Art; but also competes, pours and teaches others how to learn this artistic skill.

Here’s the Latte Art Competition Rules.
